A field recording workshop led by sound artist and composer Mint Park
This workshop will explore the sonic materiality of the air that we breathe and live in with the technology given at our disposal.
Mint Park is a Seoul-born, sound, and new media artist who works at an intersection of music, technology, science, and art. In recent years she has been researching the phenomenon of turbulence and making a weather-like ecosystem of fluid dynamics with sound, air, and lights. Besides her own projects, Mint has been running Unheard Records, a female-curated label focused on minority background electronic musicians.
